One, Two, Tree

The daily commute to school is a fairly long one and out of all of the random assortment of things I speed by two in particular catch my eye. I have always liked trees for some reason. No matter what time of year, to me they are one of the most beautiful things that nature has to offer. Here are two of my favorite trees that always catch my eye on the way to school. 

 

A Little Comotion for Stop Motion

For a recent assignment in my multimedia class we had to shoot a digital flipbook. Mine made it up on the blog for the photography program! It's nice to give yourself a little pat on the back once in a while. No Parking

I can't believe it's been over a month since my last post. Where has the time gone? The past three weeks in particular I have been in a bit of a 'funk'. I had one of those 'where am I going?' 'what am I doing?' and 'where do I want to be?' type of episodes. But this past weekend I was fortunate enough to catch up with some of my nearest and dearest and it made all the difference in the world. It took me about an hour to realize that we are all in the same boat. Eventually we'll figure out where we are going, but for now just sit back and let life happen. We can't control everything in life - that's part of the fun.

Have a Seat

I was on my way home from school and saw these old treasures sitting out at the end of a driveway. I originally drove by and just kept on truckin'. A few minutes later I turned around and decided I needed to take a picture.

What a bizarre collection of chairs...I'm partial to the one on the far right - looks like it belongs in a diner. 

Chipmunk Jackpot

This past Wednesday (Sept. 22nd) at precisely 11:09 pm a new season began. Ladies and gentlemen welcome to fall! My partner despises the dead heat of summer and I can't bear the frigid sub-zero temperatures of winter. In the fall comes the rare sighting of both of us enjoying time outside together. Another reason for the love of the season... this guy!

 

This little fella found the mother-load. Two clogs stuffed to the brim with acorns lovingly collected by some family friends. This chipmunk was giddy like he had just won the lottery. Crawling in and out of the shoes, knocking over acorns and pausing every few seconds doing what only could be described as the 'chipmunk happy dance'. Which consisted of stomping his back feet and wriggling his tail in sheer excitement.
